Biography
Egon Jonsson is Executive Director and CEO of the Institute of Health Economics, and Professor of Health Economics; adjunct at the universities of Alberta and Calgary. He trained in his native Sweden at the Stockholm School of Economics before serving as a research associate at the Harvard School of Public Health. He is an elected member of the Institute of Medicine of the US National Academy of Sciences, and former Editor of the International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care, Cambridge University Press.
