Hamdy Fouad Moselhy is Professor and Chairman at Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in UAE University. He has wide experiences in UAE, Egypt and UK for several years. Initially he trained in psychiatry at Benha University Hospital, Egypt and acquired a master degree in psychiatry and neurology (MSC) and then an MD (medical doctorate) in psychiatry. In the UK he acquired postgraduate Diploma from the Royal College of Physician (DCP) in Duplin then the membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK (MRCPsych) in 1997 and finally FRCPsych in 2011.
Professor Hamdy Fouad Moselhy has extensive experiences as an expert witness in the British criminal justice system and writing medical reports for psychiatric patients particularly with addiction problems. Contributed to a large number of scientific National and International meetings. He published nearly a hundred papers in peer reviewed journals. His research interest is on general adult psychiatry, addiction, rare psychiatric syndrome and biological aspects in psychiatric disorders.
