Biography
Cheryl Ann Alexander graduated from the University of Mississippi where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing. She earned a dual Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix. She has worked in the medical and healthcare areas over 25 years. She has published over 50 papers in professional journals. She currently works as CEO of Technology & Healthcare Solutions, a nonprofit research firm located in Mississippi which provides patient-centered evidence-based outcomes in research for quality improvement projects as well as some consulting projects. She is currently the member of several health care organizations. She served as managing editor of the International Journal of Automated Identification Technology for four years.

Her research interests and expertise include telemedicine applications, Big Data in public health care, and healthcare administration, etc.
Biography
Lawton Robert Burns, Ph.D., MBA, is the Chair of the Health Care Management Department, the James Joo-Jin Kim Professor, a Professor of Health Care Management, and a Professor of Management in the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also Director of the Wharton Center for Health Management & Economics, and Co-Director of the Roy & Diana Vagelos Program in Life Sciences and Management. He received his doctorate in Sociology and his MBA in Health Administration from the University of Chicago. Dr. Burns taught previously in the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago and the College of Business Administration at the University of Arizona.

Patricia Danzon is the Celia Moh Professor at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Professor Danzon received a B.A. from Oxford University, England, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago. She has held faculty positions at Duke University and the University of Chicago. Professor Danzon has been an Associate Editor of the American Economic Review, the Journal of Health Economics and theInternational Journal of Health Care Finance and Economics. She has published widely in scholarly journals on a broad range of subjects related to health care, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, insurance, and the economics of law.
