Santiago Hors-Fraile is a Computer Engineer and Master in Software Engineering from the University of Cranfield (UK) with international experience in research and development of serious games for healthcare. He exceeded the online course of Interprofessional Healthcare Informatics at the University of Minnesota. He is certified in Healthcare Digital Marketing-ESIC ICEMD Advanced Program. He completed the UOC's Mobile Health and Open Source Software Program. He is expert in gamification from Engagement Alliance in Amsterdam. Author of several scientific publications and speaker at multiple conferences and workshops on gamification applied to healthcare sector. He is currently a candidate for the 2015 EMBA program at IESE Business School.

Healthcare Informatics

Maria Giné-Garriga (PhD and PT) won the PhD Research Award for Excellence (Ramon Llull University) for the most promising PhD dissertation in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences in 2010. She is a Professor in the Sport Sciences and Physical Therapy Departments. She has published several papers in reputed journals in the area of Physical Activity Promotion and Physical Performance in frail elderly, and has been serving as a reviewer and academic editor in different journals. She has obtained external grants to conduct research projects in the area of Physical Activity and Health.

Although Amir Tarighpeyma graduated as a medical doctor, he worked his way into the business world. He is a senior management professional and business analyst with a proven record for steering business turnarounds, facilitating lucrative transitions to new markets, and creating solid internal structures that both expandable for future growth, and responsive to customer expectations. I focus on identifying market opportunities, reactivating stagnant accounts, reversing customer dissatisfaction, and building long-term alliances. He is an entrepreneur and business analyst.

A global healthcare, travel, and logistics executive and board member driven to obtain results through scouting new sales opportunities, developing networks, and reducing risks, Suzanne Garber has successfully led multinational teams through steady and impressive growth via both acquisitions and organic means. Able to envision long range strategy, communicate change, and implement it effectively—in multiple languages—Garber is both visionary and executor of big budget initiatives ($400M - $1.5B) involving millions of lives. Where Garber excels, however, is at developing networks and relationships with C-levels across borders and industries to deliver mutually beneficial returns. Currently, Garber is the Chief Networking Officer for International SOS, where she designs, creates, and organizes hundreds of thousands of resources dedicated to enhancing corporate and individual health around the world. To date she has contributed to the development of medical and security networks around the world as well as executed a global cost containment strategy leading to tens of millions of dollars in healthcare savings worldwide. In Garber’s former role as Chief Operating Officer, her responsibility was to deliver outstanding profits after tax by increasing productivity, expanding cash, reducing debt, and enhancing overall revenues for the Western Hemisphere. Previously, Garber spent 14 years with FedEx in the US, Mexico and Brazil, culminating in the role of Managing Director, South America. A dual US/Italian citizen, Garber is an honors graduate from Rutgers University with a degree in foreign languages and a Master’s degree recipient with honors from the University of Pennsylvania. Reared in Spain, Mexico, Algeria, Egypt, the Dominican Republic and various US states, she is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Her work has taken her to every continent and 75 countries.

Dr. Jessica Ybanez-Morano practices Obstetrics and Gynecology in Steubenville, Ohio at the Trinity Health System. She is the Director for The Pedestal for Women’s Health at Trinity. She specializes in reduced site gynecologic laparoscopic surgical techniques, especially focused with single-site laparoscopic surgeries for benign gynecologic pathologies. Dr. Ybanez-Morano is doubly boarded with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Physician Executives. She maintains academic clinical assistant professorship affiliations with West Virginia University School of Medicine, West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, West Liberty University Physician Assistant Program and Marietta College Physician Assistant Program. She graduated her dual degrees MD and MPH from West Virginia University and the Johns Hopkins University. She is a Fellow in the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a Certified Physician Executive from the American College of Physician Executives.

Luiz Giacomelli has a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy. A Masters Degree in Health System Administration from IUSB, USA. Additionally, he specialized in Human Resouces Management; In Sports Physical Therapy ; An in Biomechanics Neuro-Muscule-Skeletal. He became the physiotherapist of professional Sports teams, several athletes, and sports events until today. Also, he owns a PT Clinic, a Fitness Center, and a beauty Spa at his home town. Further, is the general coordinator of the Sport Traumatology Congress at his State. And is the managing director of a Research Institute.

Dr. Zakiuddin Ahmed is a visionary strategist, healthcare entrepreneur & a physician leader who specializes in developing socially beneficial, sustainable, scalable and innovative solutions in Healthcare through information technology.
